Y su oráculo del día...

En el centro del templo de Toshu-Gu, en Nikko, bajo Kannon (la Diosa de la compasion, una de las principales del panteon Shinto) habia una pequeña montañita con amuletos de la buena suerte, con un oráculo escrito a mano. Estos eran entregados por voluntariamente dejar una ofrenda al altar. Como por no dejar de hacer la ofrenda, y de paso tener algo de Nikko, meti la mano y saque mi amuleto, con su oráculo.

Y dice:

The ice covering the pond is melting in the spring sun. The shadows are resflecting (sic) on the fresh water.

Your fortune: Pretty Good

Just like it begins to flow on a warm spring day, you can get rid of the troubles you've suffered from. Behave yourself and love others and be faithful and you'll be happier.

Y mi amuleto? De entre los cientos de amuletos, me salió uno que es una medallita bañada en oro de Bodidharma. Resulta que Bodhidharma fue un monje errante que viajo por Asia, y fue el fundador del Budismo Zen en China y Japon.

En la explicación traducida, sale algo como:

Bodhidharma (Daruma Doll) 達磨 (ダルマ)
He embodies the virtue of "Shichiten Yakki" or the indomitable spirit. He is said to grant the three virtues of patience, luck, and long life.

A real fortune, make sure you keep it with you in your purse as a charm of blessing.
